Meals, foods and beverages sold or served at schools meet state and federal requirements based on the USDA Dietary Guidelines. All meals, foods and beverages are prepared and served by qualified child nutrition professionals. We provide students with access to a variety of affordable and appealing foods that meet the health and nutrition needs of students.
Meal Prices and Billing:
Meal Prices: Breakfast and Lunch are available at no-cost to all enrolled Hardy County students! This is due to CEP (Community Eligibility Provision). Adults must pre-pay via the payment site - www.schoolcafe.com - or pay at the time of service. The costs are as follows: Breakfast for Adult: $3.25 -- Lunch for Adult: $4.25 -- Adult/Student Extra Milk $0.25. Guests who wish to eat breakfast or lunch at school must first sign in at the main office to obtain a visitor pass. Please keep in mind if paying at the time of service, you will need exact change. Our cafeteria managers do not maintain a cash drawer, so they do not have change readily available.
Use our FREE Online website to manage your or your child’s(ren’s) account or past due balance from previous years at www.schoolcafe.com. The convenience fee to parents has been eliminated so there are no additional cost to use the website.
Hardy County Schools uses a point-of-service program for recording student meals either by manually entering the student’s ID# into the program, or by taking a scan of the student’s finger to record the meal. The scanned image is NOT a finger print, and in fact, no print can be recreated from the encrypted points. If a parent/guardian wishes to opt out of the scanner for their child(ren), they should send notice in writing to the school’s Principal.
